SMS Privacy and Messaging Policy
Draft revision: September 29, 2026. Pending factual confirmation and MACA approval.
Program scope — confirmation required
This is proposed wording for MACA’s messaging program. The sender number, provider, approved message categories, opt-in methods, and frequency must be confirmed before this policy takes effect. Appointment or administrative messages and promotional messages must be described separately. No SMS program is activated by this staging page.
Consent and choices
Provide separate, optional, unchecked choices for the actual message categories. Marketing consent must not be a condition of purchasing services. Do not infer consent from visiting the website, providing a phone number, or agreeing to general terms. Keep evidence of the consent wording, version, time, source, number, and withdrawal.
Frequency and costs
Message frequency varies with the program and your interactions; specify any actual recurring schedule before launch. Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed or unavailable.
Stopping messages and getting help
Proposed workflow: reply STOP to stop the applicable SMS program and HELP for assistance. A single opt-out confirmation may be sent. These commands must be implemented and tested with the chosen provider before launch. For another way to request help or withdraw consent, contact hello@macahealthwellness.com or +1 (561) 571-0910, subject to confirmation as the support channel.
Mobile information and privacy
Proposed commitment: mobile numbers and SMS opt-in records will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers may process them only to operate and support MACA messaging under appropriate restrictions, or as legally required. Finalize the provider, retention, access controls, and deletion process before publication.
Health information and changes
Ordinary SMS may be visible to others with access to your phone and is not a channel for emergencies. Do not send medical records or sensitive clinical details by ordinary SMS. Clinical messaging, if offered, requires an approved workflow and appropriate patient notices. Confirm the business identity and effective date; link this policy beside each SMS consent control and from the website privacy policy.
